  1. umm well i dont know much about them... but i am going to say yes

  2. ALL OF THOSE PEOPLE ARE WRONG... WELL EXCEPT FOR THE FIRST ONES... THAT FOOD DOES NOT DAMAGE YOUR BIRD BECAUSE FOR THEM IS LIKE A TREAT... YOU SHOULDN'T GIVE THEM ALOT THOUGH  BECAUSE LIKE THAT ONE PERSON SAID THEY GET ADDICTED TO THEM AND THEY GO NUTS WHEN THEY HEAR FOOD NOISES... L.O.L... TRUST ME... MY BIRDIES ALSO GO NUTS... AND THEY LUV CUP OF NOODLES... L.O.L... CHEETOS, POPCORN, DONUTS, GATORADE... AND THOSE STUFF...

  3. Yes, that's very bad for them. Birds should never be allowed to eat salty and/or greasy food, it's worse for them even than it is for us. Ask any veterinarian, most of the junk we eat will make a bird sick if not kill them outright.

  4. I'm not sure, but we had a Penolis Parrot that ate whatever we did. This included pop corn, chips, french fries, as well as fruit and stuff. He loved it and we couldn't eat around him with out him freaking out. So if you don't want a begging bird then don't feed it to him too often. He still ate his regular food though.

  5. Bird can not handle salt in their diet but plain unsalted unbutted popcorn can be a real rewarding treat and it is not going to hurt him at all.

  6. no. not at all. Just make sure the popcorn is butter free. and the chips salt free, or give them as treats.

my Congo African Grey absolutly LOVES air popped popcorn, and will sit next to the popper dancing. we found out last night that she is addicted to ruffles potato chips... and i mean.. if she hears the bag now, she will hop to whoever opened it, climb up their legs to get just one. lol. so i made some homemade baked potato chips without salt for her today. she loved them

  7. Probably because it should have bird food, not people food!

  8. maybe unbuttered popcorn and plain unsalted tortilla chips, but doritos and kettle korn is probably not a good idea.

  9. yes, animals bodies are not made to handle greasy human food. sometimes it overloads their immune systems.
