Is it bad to feed my 13 month old daughter yogurt??

She loves yogurt and wants it all the time...is this ok?

It's not bad for her to have it, and as long as she's not chubby (not high BMI) she should get whole milk yogurt.  Be aware that too much diary will interfere with iron absorption too.

As long as she only has it for a treat once a day or so.

At 13 months, she has no great power over you! Just feed her what you want to feed her!

yes its ok. yogurt is actually pretty good for her, as long as she still eats veggies, fruit, and some kind of meat regularly then i think you treating her to her favorite food is perfectly fine =)

yes, yogurt is very healthy my son loves it to and has been eating it since he was abot 8 months old. I mixed oatmeal cereal in it and it was his favorite breakfast.

it is totally ok. I started giving my yogurt everyday when he was about 8 months old. Once he reached a year old he did not like milk so I gave him at least 1 cup of yogurt a day. More if he wanted. The doctor said there was no harm. I help this helps you

i think its fine.. i started my daughter (which is two now) on real food when she was one.. so i think its fine.. she loves yogurt too

Defiantly ok! They can start having plain yogurt at about 7 months old, so by 13 months old you're fine!

it's fine for her to eat but don't give it to her every time she wants it.  i'd limit her to one container a day.  perhaps give her half in the morning and half in the afternoon with some fruit.  that would be a nice, healthy snack.

There is nothing wrong with you feeding her yogurt.  I saw an answer above that you should give her a certain type so she isn't chubby (Ethel's answer).  That is pretty rude.  That is whats great people are free to be whatever size they want.  Yogurt is not going to make someone fat.
