Question:

Is it bad to go back to the dentist 3 weeks after gum scaling instead of the recommended 4-6? I have a dillema

I had scaling done on my teeth yesterday and was told to come back in 4-6 weeks so that they can clean me up a bit more. My problem is that I'm getting kicked off my parents insurance at the end of August and am starting a new job in September, so I don't want to take off work a week after I start to go to the dentist. I called and re-scheduled for August 26, which is only 3 weeks after the initial scraping, not 4. Is this going to be a problem or is it okay to have this done? I really have no other options at this point so it's either go then or not go at all for a long time.
