I have been skating since i was 7 and now I am 12, and since I was 11 i started developing and I noticed that none of the other figure skaters were. I am now a 32a, i always wear baggy shirt or sweat shirts when i skate to hide it, but during competitions i cant do anything to hide it. Is it bad to have b*****s? If it is how else can i hide it?

  1. it's definitely not a bad thing. as the others have said, it may through off your balance a bit, but other skaters have them too, so don't worry about it.

  2. Hunny, no! I am a skater, and I have a 38D cup. The only advice I can give you is to wear a sports bra. Also, it is a natural thing that young women go through. About the only thing that you will have to worry about is your balance. The added weight will throw you off a little, but you will get used to it fast, hopefully, and be able to skate like regular in no time, all you need to do is practice, practice, practice. And as for that baggy shirt, what is up with that. Be proud of your b*****s, they'll come in handy when you get ready to have a boyfriend. But you have to get used to them, so stop wearing a baggy shirt, show them off, suck it up, and get over it. I was in your shoes before, and you basically just have to come to terms with it. It is natural, and there is nothing you can do, short to cutting them off, to get ride of them, or hide them. Sorry sweety, hope I was of some help.

  3. No, personally if a skater had bigger b*****s might make it worth watching more, good luck with it x*x

  4. Nope.  As long as they're not as big as Katarina Witt's, you'll be fine.  Michelle Kwan had some.  Compared to the newer skaters these days who are really just girls.  Michelle and Irina were women.  Even Sasha Cohen was pretty flat-chested

  5. When I was skating, I had your problem too.  I can tell you from experience that having b*****s shouldn't have too much of an impact on your skating (I didn't have any problems and I was a 34C).  Just make sure that you wear a good sports bra when you skate as it will help to make you feel more comfortable.

Don't worry too much about hiding your b*****s, it won't be long before many of your fellow skaters are facing the same issue.  Also, when you're not worried about your body you're free to focus on your skating.

  6. Seen Sasha Cohen lately?  The first one is also an example of a very beautiful dress that is form flattering but doesn't show too much... the second one is something you'd have to over 18 to wear in my household!

  7. Don't worry about it, I am much larger than you (36DDD, 5'11", but small everywhere else) and I have had no problems with skating. Wear a good sports bra, and go ahead and wear a good flesh colored bra for competitions. Don't worry about it, and just be happy with yourself!

  8. I understand you completely! I started devoloping early as well, around 10. Which was almost 6 years ago, and I'm about a 32b, I've never had a problem with it, but I've seen so many skaters with atleast ds skating very well, better then skinny minis!

Don't worry about it, if you ever got huge ones like size d, the only problem I think would be the bouncing.

    Hope this helps!

  9. I do and I have been embarassed about it and have tried to hide it for forever!  Even my coach would laugh at me when I would let my upper body fall forward when landing jumps..."Must be top heavy!"  A 32A isn't bad at all!  Don't worry...you could be a 32D!  :)  Look for minimizing sports bras.  My solution for this for a much larger chest was to wear a normal underwire bra with a sports bra over it.  For competitions, get a flesh colored sports bra.  Check gk-elite.com or rainbosports.com.  They have skin-tone sports bras and body suits that you can wear to cover bras.  Shock Absorber also has high impact (looking at their chart, I think skating would fall under their highest impact level)  bras -- in pretty colors -- that are fashionable and functional.  Don't worry - it's a natural part of getting older and there's not a lot you can do to prevent it.  Don't be embarassed by your body -- it takes a lot of energy and doesn't get you anywhere.....I've done it for a loooong time!  :)

  10. Katerina Witt  won twice at the Olympics. She looks like she is at least a 36C. Be glad you are have some.

  11. it's not bad but it makes it harder to do stunts.

    [im a skater too.=] ]

  12. No, it is not bad to have b*****s. It might throw off your balance a little bit as you get older and bigger, but there are ways around that.

Most girls WANT b*****s, I'm surprised to hear you say you don't. Don't let ice skating keep you from enjoying life. Ice skating will eventually end.
