Is it bad to have the litterbox in my room?

Everytime I see poo in my litterbox (Cat's litterbox), I scoopit out. will i get sick having the litterbox in my room?

You won't get ill from it, but it's not the nicest smell to wake up to, is it?

It's bad only if you let things stew in the box so long that you clothes start to smell like a litter tray. If you really have to do have the tray in your bedroom, I suggest you use the pine sawdust based litter. My experience is that,. if it's used by just one cat, it's pretty odour-free for at least a week. Obviously, that doesn't apply if you have an un-neutered Tom!
