  1. well if your routine to gain muscle is right then it probably just means that you are losing fat, or water weight. make sure to eat lots. not junk.

  3. To do this sucessfully you realy need to manage your diet and exercise routines.  Some people wil find this impossible to do, others have no problems. If you can do this, then great.  The solution is to not try to lose too much weight too quickly, slow and steady will win out.  If you get your routines right you can probably find that your calorific intake can increase yet you'll still be losing (body fat) weight while adding muscle weight.

    Suggestion: get a bodyfat monitor that tells you in lbs or kgs what your current muscle mass is (absolute values are better in this instance than percentages).
