  1. Of course not silly goose! LOL... anyways those stories always come out adventurous and full of twists and turns cuz ideas just randomly pop in your head and then BAM it's part of your story!

  2. Sometimes the characters and plot take over, and all you are is the reporter or stenographer. Nothing wrong with that at all.

Story line is helpful when you've got a complicated narrative and you have to keep track of all the threads.

Suggestion: Instead of a storyline, I often do a storyboard, complete with stick figures. Again, this is useful when you've got intricate subplots and a host of characters.

And still another device is a "concept map."  Just the employment of this useful device will often clear up some muddy goings-on and get rid of superfluous characters.

  3. No not really. You don't have to have things in mind to just write. Writing without a plan is just brainstorming and you can always go back and adjust things if you do figure out a storyline.

  4. no i think that's ok because you can read it and then think where it's going and then keep writing. i think i read somewhere that the guy that wrote fight club didn't think about putting the big twist at the end until like halfway through or something

  5. Don't think so...coz it is good to have a storyline just to guide you.  But when the writing starts, if it is me...I let my imagination runs wild...
