Is it bad to push start your dirtbike?

my kickstart broke so i have to push start it now..is this bad for the motor?

  1. No problem.

    I did it for 6 months on a bike that was my only means of transportation - the part needed was back ordered :(

    i rode my old honda for 3 months  with a bad starter and a broken clutch cable and it survived [so did the clutch]

  4. No it's not bad for the motor.

    It might be hard on the clutch, because the clutch will be turning the motor.

    You can get the bike rolling downhill, engage the clutch, and turn the starter key.
