Is it bad to put a surfboard in jacuzzi water considering how hot it is?

i would not do it, it might mess up the foam or something like that because of the chlorine, but if the jacuzzi is salt water i would not worry as much

If you are using an epoxy board I wouldn't do it, they are susceptible to damage from heat.  A regular polyester foam board should be fine.

As far as some of the other answers: Umm ...worry about the chlorine???  You use surfboards in the ocean, which is salt water.  You know, that stuff made of minerals bonded to chlorine.

Still not sure why you would do it in the first place though.

FYI, jacuzzis are bad for wet suits.

It might melt the wax on the board. If there aren't any major dings ok cracks in the glass it should be fine though.

If the board doesn't have any unrepaired dings or cracks in the surface it might not bother it.  If you have water under the glass it might cause a delam.  Why in the world would you want to do it though?

you might get some long term damage but you never know.

Its not necessarily the heat you should worry about, its the chlorine.
