Is it bad to shake your laptop while working on it?

I don't understand why you must do that. Normally it's should  be ok as long as not strong shake and it's not advisable to do that

i wouldnt reccomend it to be honest try and keep it on a hard flat service  so it wont overheat  and its stable.

it wont be any major harm to ur laptop but it cant be good

Unless you have a solid state hard drive, it's dangerous to shake your laptop. The hard drive is the mostsensitivee part in the laptop. There is a rating on most laptops that you can find showing how many G's it can withstand. Thehard drivee disk reader will scratch the disks and you can lose all you data. The electrons will get scratched off thehard drivee and that part of thehard drivee will be useless.

Just check the G rating to make sure your not overstressing you computer.

I wouldn't recommend shaking the laptop as i work in I.T. It can cause a lot of damage to the hard drive or the optical drive, also the screen may break or if you have the laptop plugged in you may damage the charging socket
