Is it bad to shop at a thrift shop?

I really want to be a North Face REALLY REALLY REALLY CHEAP! My friends say a thrift shop is the best spot... Should I go for it?

  1. Why would it be bad? My wife shops them often,

    consequently my grand children are well dressed

    and we save alot of money. These are 'gently used'

    items and we don't pay the huge retail markups.

    No one will know unless you tell them so if you

    worry about such things.

  3. there is nothing wrong with a thrift shop sometimes they might have the best things there that they dont have any where else u might also find something very old and cheap and it might acctually be worth some money on ebay or something like that

  4. I don't see why not. Thrift stores don't mean bad stuff. I have found things in a thrift shop that still have tags on it, brand new. I would at least look. It can't hurt!

  5. You might not find exactly what you are looking for, but you'll more than likely find something just as nifty. If you really want something specific, though, the best place to look is Ebay, where a number of thrift stores and consignment shops post their wares.
