  1. No. The time you sleep doesn't matter, but the amount of time you sleep does.

  2. hmm.. well your sleeping patterns are controlled by your circadian clock. so if you do do that then make sure that you do that regularly so you get use to that. also at night your body releases this hormone called melatonin to make you tired tells your body to rest now. and since you're going to sleep at night.. yup you're fine :D

it'd be kinda messed up though if you were trying to go to sleep at 12pm to 8 am... but you're finnne

  3. So long as everything is dark and night is properly imitated you'll get a good nights sleep. If you have lots of light and sound, even if you get eight hours you won't sleep well.

  4. no, I do it all the time.

  5. it depends

    do you act different?

  6. Sleeping hours depends on your age and your schedule. The older you are the less sleeping hours required, it doesn't really matter from what time you start to sleep once you fullfill the hours (for eg. 8 hours) out of 24 hours (1 day)

  7. It is not bad for them. It might take a little getting used to. The body-clock would require a little time to re-adjust itself, and there may be problems with daylight, noise, and telephone calls.

Shift workers and people who travel a lot across time zones have this problem, but much more acutely, and yet they survive.

  8. no, but be careful it doesn't get out of control. 4am will soon turn into 5am, etc. Before you know it you've wasted the whole day sleeping.

  9. I don't know.. I have insomnia..

  10. Yes, you're body gets thrown off when put through irregular sleep patterns. It can really mess you up by putting you in bad moods, making you extra tired, etc.

  11. no just eat right

  12. you should actually regulate you sleeping time no mix it up too much it is very easy for you to get thrown off and it will mess up your appetite and if you keep sleeping at different hours then your body will be confused at which time you should sleep and wake.

  13. no,it will just make you tired

  14. gg

  15. yes because you need a steady sleep schedule or else you won't get the energy from the normal amount of sleep! try to keep the same amount of sleep from the same times

  16. if you mean 4 am to noon every day , thats fine, your body can adjust.  but if your talking about Swing shifts, sleeping a different 8 hours just about every day? That sucks.

  17. no

  18. no just that you sleep your regular hours of sleep doesnt matter what time you go to sleep

  19. no its ok.

  20. Yes

  21. Who knows!

  22. Yes, it can make a difference, but how much difference is subject to debate.  I've heard some say they like their odd schedule better as long as it is consistient.  I heard that some group is trying to get shift work accepted as a carcinogen due to higher cancer rates among night workers.

I think that as long as you still get a solid seven hours of sleep and sleep well, that you won't have anything to worry about.

  23. It's not bad for your body till you don't get used to these hours! well it's kind of bad for your body because you won't get the discipline your body needs!

  24. yes it will kill you if you do it 8 times

  25. Yes it's better to sleep earlier than latter even though you might get the same amount of hours of sleep. It all has to do with the chemical balance in your brain due to sunlight. Obviously, you will get less sunlight if you go to bed later than earlier cause you will be waking up later in the day and living into the night.

  26. I dont think it makes a difference when you sleep, as long as you get enough of it.

  27. no as long as you sleep longer then usual
