Is it bad to swim with contacts in? (Read Details)?

A few nights ago i went to a softball cookout and they had a pool there. Of corse i was gonna jump right in! But, later on some kid sprayed me with a super soker right in the eye and it stinged for about a minute. Then my friend dunked me under water and i opened my eyes for like a second. They didnt fall out but i was wondering if this was bad for them and my eyes.

yah because the water in the pool is dirty and can contaminate your contacts leaving you with a serious eye infection its should be okay but yeah just dont do it again lol

ur lucky it wasnt a salt water pool because that really stings =P
