Is it bad to take a bath or shower in a thunder storm?

I've heard it is, but I want to know for sure.

there are two very distinct schools of thought on this matter.

1. No you shouldn't shower in a thunderstorm.

2. Thunderstorms are not dangerous when using a grounded water source.

In my experience, I have found that you should use your own judgement for such situations.

I don't have a problem showering in a storm.

Tornadoes, however, are a different story.
