Is it bad to trim your eyebrows with scissors?

Question

I just did it, and it looks great, but now I'm worried the hair is going to grow back thicker and pointy. haha.If I keep trimming them [just te bushy part close to my nose] Will I be fine? Thanks.

it's not bad, i think it works... but plucking them will make it last longer

If you have thick eyebrows like me then I bet youre glad you trimmed them. They look sooo good and well maintained. And when you trim them the shape is more noticeable. Yes they will grow back, and no they won't be thicker. But just dont shave them cuz that will mess up your eyebrows.

If your like me and your eyebrows grow longer before actually getting thick then yes it's fine...The hair won't grow back thicker. I read that the only reason it seems like it may be thicker is because the hair may have been a bit lightened from the sun and when it grows back it may appear darker making it seem thicker. Anyways, you just trimmed them down, you should be fine

Trimming is fine. It doesn't really thicken the hairs--it just makes them appear thicker since the end you cut is more blunt than it would naturally be. The only cool thing about plucking over trimming is that, over time, plucking can traumatize the hair follicle and cause fewer hairs to actually grow back. As far as shaping goes, though, trimming is fine.

I think you will be fine i mean its pretty much just like waxing and plucking so i think it will be fine!!

I cut my brows all the time! it won't make them pointy, hahaha.
