  3. No, you will be fine.  I had a new one at a big state meet and I did really well... Just make sure that it fits.

  4. No! Not at all! Why would it be bad to wear a new swimsuit? You're going to wear it sooner or later, nothing wrong with wearing it to a swim meet, it's the same as wearing it anywhere else. No worry, and it might help you at the meet, make you faster, you know.

  5. No, there is no problem in wearing a new suit to a meet. Just make sure it fits, and if this is a fastskin suit, don't wear it until warmup has 30 min to go. The fastskin suits aren't that resistant to chlorine. if it is a normal suit, there is no difference. You still have to wear it anyway, so why not wear it now?

  6. A swim suit is not like a baseball glove.  It does not need to be "broken in."  You should wear the same suit in warm-up that you plan to wear in competition, however.
