Is it bad too start acting at 13?

Becaus Raven started a 3.Im 13 and just now getting my agent meeting Raven and everything.I wanna be big like she was when she was little like Raven,Demi,Selena and Miley..So did i start to late?

  1. Yeah. Look at all the stars today that started acting/singing at a young age. Their total trainwrecks.


  2. i dont think so... i am 13 too and i absolutely love acting. If you want to become big, then you should probably go into community theater first and if you have a community acting club then join that. eventually you will get the bigger parts and then you wont be nervous in auditions. Miley Cyrus start out for Disney while she was 12 and look at her now... shes so big. so good luck i hope u make it!

  5. No its not to late. Im not famous or anything but I am an actor. I started in high school and I wish I would have started earlier. Not because I want to be famous but because I want more experience.

No.  It is never too late to start something.  Acting is easy.  Getting the gig/callback is not.  You will face lots of rejection.  But, never, never, never quit.  Take classes, read books and watch movies and shows.  Richard Farnsworth started acting in his late 50s.  Dustin Hoffman started out in Volkswagon commercials.  Develop your craft and polish your instrument.  And have fun.

    even though it seems like it's impossible, i started acting when i was 12 and i've gone a long way. just stick with it and try as hard as you can to get far and you'll be great!

  12. No. 13 is still young, if you're naturally talented things will happen, if not, well, you would probably have never become big regardless of what age you started anyway.

    As long as you've got a passion for it, and are physically able to act, go for it.

Raven did start at 3 n He became a Great Actor because He worked hard for it n he was not asking questions at yahoo , If you're really serious give it all you can you will surely make it , you're 13 not 30.......eh isn't there was a movie about 13 going on 30 or something ....not important ..

  18. It's never too late to start acting. Most actors don't start acting until they are out of college, and there are many successful actors who started acting after their own children left for college. However, you can definitely start too early. Hollywood is a tough business, and it's not for the weak, lazy, or stupid. You've got to be strong to withstand temptations that can destroy you, you've got to be able to get up early in the morning after getting to bed really late the previous day, and you've got to be smart enough to have the business savvy to protect yourself from everyone trying to take advantage of you. Some child actors' parents have embezzled their children's money to the point of their being in debt even though the kid was the one earning the money for the household. But if you've got a dream in your heart, follow it. Take care of yourself and make sure you have people who will help to take care of you.

  28. No. That's a good age to start because you're starting your teenage years. These years are tough due to the many changes (physical and emotional) experienced, and acting will give you the self confidence and self esteem that you need. It's what you like! Go on forward and good luck!!
