I will be finished with my 12th by the end of 2009. I was really confused between studying in india for the first 4 years, to get a bachleors degree or doing rest of my education in USA. Few say, to do it here (India) for 4 years and then do the masters in the US.And the rest say do the whole thing in USA. So i was really confused. I would really want your help...

  1. Find out which schools are the best for your chosen field of study, both in India and the United States. Then you should do some research and contact the schools your interested in attending.

They can give you information such as, whether or not universities in the United States will recognize a Bachleors degree earned in India. How much it's going to cost, or scholarship options, possibly work options as well.

  2. well my dear India provides you the best education for bachelors and its always better  compiling it here and go abroad for further education i.e MS for bachelors in US is nothing but glamor !

  3. Do the whole in US.They do not recognise Indian degrees.

  4. for you to study in the US will cost you a small fortune.

with all the outsourcing thats going on in the engineering industry, if you graduate in india your actually more likely to get a job.... wierd as it sounds.

industry people dont give a ratz-butt what University you graduate, they interview you, put you on a probation period for a month, if your good they will keep you.

i recon you do your 4 years in india, learn english real well, study really hard, get married, then move to the US with your wife or something.

Undergrads from Indian universities are some of the best of the best, and they are getting recognised more and more

I recon one day in the future, India will be a hub for engineering technology, if your there at the right time, well then GG

  5. I did B.E (ECE) and then did M.tech(IT), so i spent about 4+2=6 years for education. Since i'm highly educated i got a JOb easily but when i joined the company i found to my horror that people who are just B.Sc Computer science grads (3 yrs) are working with me and they are drawing the same salary as i did. Later on i came to know that at IT industry, there is no value for the Degree that you hold. B.Sc, B.com, ME,M.Tech, all are same. Its the work and commitment that gets you recognisition. The degree that you hold just yields you an additional points which help in getting a job soon. This also of no use when u have enough exp on ur Resume and worked in bigt company like Infy, Microsoft, etc. So what I suggest you is stop thinking about higher studies and get into BE first

There is a scope for doing MBA/ME while working. In all big companies, the company helps the employee in pursuing MBA/ME at its own cost. So you wont end up spending ur dad's money for getting a masters degree.

So wherever u do ur Degree u have work in some place. So start studying Engg in india and then through ur company do Higher studies in US. All the best, think about it before u make a decision.

  6. do B.E in INDIA....
