Yes, I'm asking about toilet paper, if it offends you then please dont answer. People use the bathroom everyday, and therefor I find it a very significant matter. I appreciate all the feedback! Thanks.

  1. It is probably not better for your personal environment unless you live in the woods or something.

The systems are in place to deal with it.  you, or 100,000,000 people suddenly changing their habits won't change the systems in place, and I would hate to have to be the sanitation worker that picks up your **** paper.

Society has come a long way to have central plumbing that won't pollute the water supply.  Use it.

  2. flushing is more sanitary and probably better for the environment.

however. flushing a toilet is a HUGE waste of water. make sure your toilet is a low flush one (it still does the job just fine, but saves us water and the energy it would take to clean that water.)

  3. "TP" was designed to dissolve shortly after being hydrated. Besides the unsanitary affects of "throwing it away" if it never gets wet it will accumulate in the landfills. Which is also bad, so when you gotta go, put it in the toilet like the other 5.8 billion people.
