  1. "I have been and have not been" as well, and I do agree that having been is better... and I also agree that procrastination is the demon that keeps us from being.

The object of the game is to never be a has-been, but an "I-am" and an "I-will-be" til h**l freezes over and the Pearly Gates open.

  2. It is better to live (ie, to be) than not to live (ie, not to be). Choose Life over Death. All matter in the universe, from galaxies to microbes, has a life span, a cycle of living, and all else is empty vacuum and darkness. So better to be part of the great being than the great non-being.

  3. both are the best option, since I'm choosing. there's no better way of being or not being than choosing to be or not to be.

  4. What exactly is your style?

Taking someone else's quote and just switching it around?

    Its better to be.

  5. Hamlet's agonised procrastination, characterised by this monologue, leads to the premature death of five people, including himself. The message, it would seem, is "don't procrastinate". The decision to exist or not exist is purely a subjective one, but having been made it needs to be implemented fully, not agonised over or questioned indefinitely.

  6. its better not to be .....a thief

its better of not to be ....a liar

its better off not to be...a murder

    its better to be ...loved

its better to be...forgiven and have forgiveness

    its better to be ...free

  7. You might as well ask."Who is better for America McCain or Obama?", and wait for a response.

  8. Yeah, I agree with Just Dessert. You really already know the answer. If you really don't know, then just kill yourself in order to find out...

  9. Not to be, for to be would be it, and not being it allows for you to be on the ball.

  10. The question that is.

My friend who was in a car accident on march 5th 2007 and sat in the hospital, wasting away to 50lb, died this morning at 2:15.

I am so happy (for him and his family) that he is "not to be" anymore.

  11. I think it is probably better to "be" because not to be may make you miss out on something...

  12. For me, to be is better. But I reserve the right to change my mind if things get really bad, like coming down with some painful, terminal illness that creates a situation that is hurting those I love.

  13. G Perspective changes the environment. A small change in perspective can produce large changes in outcome. The answer then, depends on whether the slings and arrows are viewed as torture imposed by others, or as opportunity to learn from ones susceptibilities. The susceptibilities can be changed and then the slings and arrows become wonderful benefits sent by heaven for your benefit.

  14. I've been, and I've not been. Having been is better.

  15. To be or not to be, that is the question and the answer is...

Do I want to keep myself alive or just forget the whole thing?

To sleep purchance a dream...maybe I'll figure this out

    To die...h**l with it all.

Don't think you've changed anything...it's still the same question asked by many

  16. Well, that would depend on the situation.
