Is it better to apply to an Australian uni directly as an international student or to use Study Australia?

I'm a recent college graduate in the U.S. and I'm very interested in pursuing at Graduate degree at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.

Is it better to apply as an international student directly through the university or to use one of those American companies such as Study Australia or Australearn as a middleman in the whole application process?

You should apply directly to the University as an International Student. You may download the application form, which will definitely guide you what to do for getting admission.

I won't suggest to seek help/guidance from any agent at the beginning.
