  1. Those who have been acting since childhood are at an advantage due to plenty of experience. However, you can start acting at any age and still be good at it . Never give up on your dream! There is NO age limit to acting.  I know 4 year old actresses and 70 year old ones which proves that in the field of acting everyone has a chance to shine!

Good luck to you ! =]

  2. Big Sigh,,, AND KUDOS TO YOUR MOM, maybe she won't be in the way of the rest of us as a back stage director parent.

I appreciate youth, but you all need to mature and evolve.

COLLEGE is a good path, no matter the rest of the road yo travel, hopefully for 100 more years.  Becoming an "ACTRESS" takes EDUCATION, TALENT, ABILTY, TIME, and AGE is hardly a valid factor

  3. Although SUCCESS as a child actor has screwed up many lives, it's still probably better to try as a child than later on. Very few succeed and you can waste many adult years of life waiting for your big chance. If you can either get some gigs OR get it out of your system while you are still quite young, there are advantages.

There are always opportunities ( unpaid ) for amateur theatrical experience both in school and locally and if you can't get there by yourself, you probably don't have the motivation necessary. Requiring that you be DRIVEN is a bit much.
