  1. its good to be on the bigger side if your playing with checking involved. the best would be being average size around 5 7- 5 9 for a 15 yr old. for ice hockey i always did sprints and suicides, and some passing drills. your best be it jogging alot or just getting a parachute and running with that. it usually good to have alot of stamina before your season starts just in case your team doesnt have alot of players

  2. doesnt matter, i'd rather be big, but at the same time you have to be fit and talented. look at martin st. louis. hes short but he's very good.

and pronger, he's big, feared and he's a good player

  3. OK... so you definitely dont wanna be fat, thats no good for hockey. You also dont want to be a beanpole. Either way, you probably dont have any control over that. In practice it really depends. If you are a terrible skater the coach might just have you do simple with cones to improve your skating. If you can skate but are terrible at stick handling, you might just do some stick handling drills. There is the problem that your starting so late, though. If everyone is pretty bad than dont worry, but if youre joining a team with people who have played for a while... all the drills are going to be more advanced and will require you to have the basic skills of skating and stick handling. Second question. Hockey is all about speed. Stamina isnt so important cuz shifts are supposed to be only about 1 min long... but being fast is very important! All in all, my advice to you is to focus on youre skating on your own to try to catch up to the team. If your skating is already good, the do some drills with a golf ball or something to get a feel for the puck.

  4. both have good and bad parts big because u knock people over small because u can go through peoples legs

  6. It is always better to be big and tough

  7. big

  8. quick and agile. roller hockey values finesse more than brute strength especially at your age
