once you start questioning the meaning/purpose of life, the nature of human beings, motives, emtion, etc its very difficult to stop. is it better to be aware of all of this or is it better to never be aware of it to begin with and just live your life without giving it a second thought? but then are people incredibly shallow and missing out if they dont?

my mind is overworking itself.

  1. We naturally strike a balance between shallowness and obsessive awareness of the paradoxes that govern our lives; the balance is not effected consciously. In the end we are all naive, are we not?

  2. Being naive does not absolutely mean being uninformed.

It may mean, having limited information.

Some people prefer not to learn about certain things.

    We all have our priorities.

  3.    i can only help by quoting the famous philosopher's answer(= karl Popper).

Which is,that it is better to be critical and thus open;we should never go back to the animals, for this would be a big, possibly fatal mistake.Once we have opened our gates-of-knowledge(and critical knowledge in particular),we can really never go back to an easier, and more simple, naive life.

For our lives are not like "blank canvasses"-despite what som teacher scholars still teach-our lives never were and will not be blank slates either. Its not only naive to think so,its dangerous nonsense pedalled by faulty teaching.

    So much for being "naive"!

  4. Yes, but I would use different words... innocent, awake and intuitive.

  5. It is difficult to stop because there is no stop.  But I think it is OK to ponder and broaden your mind until it is overworked.  Then give it a rest and be OK with the likelihood of never being able to come up with the answers.

  6. better for who?

i think it is best for all of mankind, for all people to question all things, and demand proof of all things. i think this is the safest for everybody.

but for one individual, it might be better for them personally to just never mind those things and just fulfill their basic desires.

but i think that if everybody questioned and sought truth about all things it would be better for every individual.

just like driving. if everybody drives in traffic to allow for the flow of traffic then everybody gets home faster. if just one drives that way they might get taken advantage of, they might get home slower and some others might get home faster.

i think if you studied traffic you would realize this, then get frustrated that some slow down traffic selfishly while there is nothing you can do. this is the way i think that ignorance can be bliss. in this way being naive might be better. but if all studied it then traffic would be greatly improved.

but also there are some things that you can learn that will improve things for yourself independently of others.

so i think it is a good quality, very healthy, but there might be some undesirable side effects. consult your family philosopher to learn more about questionin.

  7. ...no, its best to question all that you have a question for...

...to ignore it is to be naive...

  8. Of course one must think or else he would be so blind not to think of something so nessecary , this is the very purpose of creation! but then one must use the right way to get to conclusions which is the mind plus the truth within religions that were revealed from the creator of the world that one wishes to reach meaningfull and usefull conclusions about because human mind on its own has 2 shortings; 1st it is impossible for one person to cover all the knowledge in the world to be able to give 100% correct answers and 2nd even of one could no person has the perfect wisdom and intelligence to give 100% correct answers. that's why the conclusion is : one must use his mind with guidance from the creator of the universe who has the complete knowledge about his creatings and the complete wisdom and intelligence.

  9. it is better to be aware of life

  10. don't feel so lost. u are onto something here. i look at it this way. i am supposed to grow and evolve in my own way. i will find truth to what is important to life. what we have now is how we deal with the growing world. it is just natural we "pick" at each other. in all histories even the giants took a fall. right now all of the planet is quarreling for the top place. but what they dont realize is that they're aiding in their own demise. i am only here for a short time. too bad this is as far as i can become (grow) when i die there will be only a rememberance of the era i lived in not about me. so the sad truth is we are all just dust in the wind just like in the song. it is hard to deal with. we have to keep going thru the motions of life, this life, only a few are fortunate enough to have a separate life alongside of it. to keep the balance is also a battle in itself. we are what we are. be aware of ur surroundings. dont be an idiot caught up in the hype of what u should do, wear, say, and own.

be realistic. stop poluting ur mind and the environment.  hang on. be kind and compassionate. we are in the same boat. feeling so darn connected but yet so helpless is one of the feelings spiritually evolved people feel. therefore, we strife to better the things around us and lead by example. so keep philosophizing and grow and  teach others.

u must also be very artistic, am i right??

PS  ur mind is overworking because u also developed anxiety  (just like me ) part of it. relax. the time will come where u will be where u long to be. patience and let nature take it's course.

  11. The history of much of philosophy is found in Plato's "Republic," in which the majority of people do not examine their lives unto the point of realization that the beliefs they live by are foundationless, comforting myths.  The rulers are at the level of a non-daimonic Socrates:  they know they don't know, and they lack a spiritual connection.

This is the existential condition of those who lack e.g. the One Mind Soul-individuation of Plotinus, the various levels of God-awareness and attunement of e.g. Husserl, Whitehead, Bergson, and Buber.

The distinction between, and pons asinorum, of the two general groups--those who lack God-Self awareness, and those who experience One Mind Soul-individuation--is the distinction of resonance and oneness with the One.

In the case of evil, e-veil, energy-veil, it is better to be God-instructed, or naive.  On the other hand, to live the mythic level of comfort, the unexamined life, is perhaps to miss the opportunity for Self-realization in the manner Plotinus, Husserl, and other great thinkers have demonstrated.

  12. I love you answer your questions,lol.

The answer is that it depends. Wouldn't it be great if all humans were in love with the truth but they're not. Most people actually hate honesty and when they have to face it they go into denial or something like that.

So, is it better? For whom? For me the truth is always better, others are looking for concepts that give them hope, others just don't care. It's relatitve, but I guess you're trying to find if it's better for you but only you know that, even though it might take some time to for you to answer your own question.

  13. In some ways yes. If you think too much or know too much about life, you risk the chance of becoming paranoid, bitter, and cynical. But on the same note curiousity is the greatest weapon in our arsenal. It has lead ot some of man's greatest discoveries. If you don't at least wonder about the life your leading you could missing out on something truly wonderful.

  14. No contrary to the popular saying ignorance isn't bliss.
