Is it better to become a corrections officer or police officer?

One is not necessarily better than the other. It depends on what you want to do. However, I know some correctional officers that want to be police officers. I don't know any police officers that want to become correctional officers. Both are important jobs. Well im very interested in both. It really is what you enjoy police officers tend to be paid a little more but money isnt everything. If your under 21 i recommend you go for corrections officer since you usually only have to be 18. But good luck with whatever you do. The only way to truely find out is try both.
