It was a lionhead fish and we had it for 2 and a half years. It was quite chubby.

  1. I would put it back into the earth... maybe a stream, river, lake, ocean.

  2. It's better to burry fish because the  bugs can eat them up for food. And when you flush them thy just go throught a big system for the water to be  cleaner. It makes it harder for the people to clean the smaller pipes if they get stuck in one.

  3. I flushed my fish but it wasn't a lionhead. I would probably just wrap it up and put in a garbage bag.

  4. i don't think so.

  5. Whatever you want to do.

  6. toilets are definately more fun

  7. I always flush fish, unless they're too big.  (i.e. a 10 inch long pleco, or 4 inch long goldfish.

but then again, I'm not exactly 'attached' to most of my fish.

  8. I guess it depends on how you personally feel about it.

I have always heard about flushing them down the toilet but personally I would rather bury it so it is always with us, and we do it with all our pets, but if you bury it just make sure its buried quite deep so there isn't a risk of foxes or anything digging it back up :s

And sorry about your lionhead fish, its not fair when pets die :(
