Is it better to buy a camcorder from B&H or Ebay?

Question

say for example if I want to buy one of the newer models, like an HV30 or HV20, would it be better to get it from a reputable company like B&H and it cost me a little more money, or should I take the risk and save $40-$50 and get it on ebay? am I getting any extra protection (not the same as extended warranty, but more like peace of mind) by just getting it from B&H?

Saving $40 or $50 is nothing for the overall price.  I'd spend the money now to save the hassles later!
