  1. acually there right cz when i get the flu i eat some hot soup while im wrapped up in a blanket i sweat alot and i feel  awful after but the next day i am perfectly well . with no flu or anytin

  2. My friends, cousin's parents had the same view. SWEAT IT OUT! However this is the worst possible way. Their little boy became brain damaged because he was over-heated, his body temp. became high, causing excessive bloodflow to his brain.

On the other hand, my girlfriend's parents used to put her in a cold bath and nothing happened to her, this was many years ago by the way. But my cousin's parents put their child in a cold bath and she got minor brain damage, very very minor though.

My parents never did anything, they would just accomadate my requests. I knew what was to hot and what was to cold. Just go by what your body feels, its annoying, but safe!!

    Goodluck

  3. Usually I like to put a cold cloth on my head or something but sometimes I am freezing when I have a fever and it's the opposite I just want to be warm. All I know is that when I'm hot and I have a fever I definitely don't want anything warm near me....it makes me feel more sick

  4. Sorry, but they are right.  You need to stay warm and hydrated.  Your fever is your bodies immune system fighting the virus or bacteria.  Thus, stay warm and help your body do its job.  Cold does not help and will actually prolong the illness.

  5. They are right most viruses are caused by two things toxins in your body or lack of nutrients.
