  1. No way stick with the ME degree you will have many for options when you graduate. Think of it this way: an aerospace firm will hire an ME to work on planes, but few non-aero firms will hire an AE for anything, except maybe to make copies or coffee or something.  I got an undergrad in AE, then stayed on for masters in ME (AE field is very specialized = very cyclical and few jobs, unless we're at war with someone, which of course is pretty much all the time now anyway, but I digress...). It all worked out great for me, but if I had it to do all over again I would have skipped the AE degree altogether and just got the ME in the first place. Good Luck!

  2. yea dude ... itz very gud if u do it ... but u need to do it from a gud university .....  obviously have to go abroad .... n this is one of the evergreen fields n fast emergin also ......

  3. yes. Go ahead if you are getting admission in a good Institute.

  4. it is very specialised field which requires very less of PG's. it is very useful and interesting but if u focus on job it is a bit doubt.

as correctly said by another friend an ME can work in AE field but an AE cannot work in any other field.

    try to select the best.

all the best for your future

  5. The PG, if it is one of the specializations of your UG, would really have an added value.

  6. Definately,it has good scope.Aviation industry is expanding in india and so is the need of aeronautical engineers.
