Is it better to do weight training before or after a swim workout? I need to fit them both in the same day.?

  1. Before.. you swim.. it gets you ready before hitting the water.  


  2. I have done it both ways, and I prefer to do weights first.

    That said, you should never lift weights "cold." If you are pressed for time, swimming can act as your warm-up -- you won't have to do any extra "warm up" prior to weights.

  3. weights 1st but dont over do it  cuz swimming takes a lot out of ya.. or u can do water aerobics maybe?  

  4. you should probably do the weights first but space out the workouts by maybe a couple of hours. Make sure you eat as much as you need because the cardio workout of swimming can and will take allot out of you. And eat your vegetables.
