I've heard conflicting information for both. How do you weigh in on this one?

  1. I think it doesn't really matter although some people say that it isn't good to exercise before bed or you won't be able to sleep.  Exercise when the weather is best and when you have the most energy.

  2. Good question.  But you never mentioned trying to loose weight.  Why does everyone assume that exercising means you're already too fat?

  3. Morning is better than the evening to work out if you have the time.  It does speed up you metabolism, but of course it will speed it up in the evening too.  The problem with that is that it's harder to fall asleep.  Also another benefit of working out in the morning is that you have it done and don't need to worry about it for the rest of the day.  That way no matter what pops up or how tired you are you don't have to worry because your workout is done.

  4. i exercise after work.  but i work midnights, so that would be morning. exercising will boost your metabolism, no matter what time of day you exercise.  and either way you go, you want to make sure you stop exercising at least a couple of hours before you want to go to bed.  the endorphin high you get while exercising will keep you up.

  5. Morning.  It speeds up your metabolism and you will burn calories.

  6. Its a myth that morning is better for fat burning.  The best time of day to work out is when you have the right amount of time.  Make sure you have an hour and if that is in the morning - great.  If it is at lunch time, fine.  It doesn't matter as long as you are well hydrated and eat something afterwards.
