  1. it is best to get an A in all classes./

  2. A will always be better than a C

  3. Schools usually give you four points for a regular class and five points for a higher class. An C in a high class is lower then an A in a low class.

  4. For a four year college, a C is better in an advanced class than an A in a general.  Why?  Colleges want to know your academic level.  If you get an A, then they know that you should be taking higher level course and are just protecting your GPA.  Take the higher level course to show your true ability and readiness for college.

If you are planning on a tech college or 2 year college, then it does not matter.

  5. You will have no chance at  top schools if you take easy classes. You know best what type of student you are. If you will really get Cs in honors or AP, don't take them and accept that you're going to a mid level college at best. Id you can work hard and get at least Bs, it would be the smart thing if you want to apply to better colleges.

  6. you might want to learn how to spell because it is college.

  7. It's all about the GPA.  Go for the A.

  8. If you plan on going to a community college, you will be fine. You will be able to get into college with taking the lower classes, but when you get to college it will be a lot harder to keep up!

  9. A

  10. You know, I also ponder on about the same thing.  But here's the catch, most good colleges are looking for students that take rigorous classes (i.e. AP and honors).  By showing them that you take those classes, it means that you've challenged yourself.   AP classes are the only classes that are a little more challenging and time consuming, but honors are somewhat to the same to standard classes.  I would take all honors and possibly one or two AP classes.  If you get earned an "A" in a regular class, I'm sure you won't do that bad in honors and AP.  Take a chance to challenge yourself a little, and if you find those AP classes are too hard for you, you can always drop them and go back to regular classes.  Good luck with everything.
