  1. Breeder. Especially for bearded dragons. Pet stores generally know so little about what they sell, they should be restricted to selling supplies and NO live animals.

  2. Breeder, by far.

Breeders have raised your bearded dragon themselves, and will know all about him/her, what s*x they think s/he is, date of birth, feeding habits, stuff like that. Pet stores just get their reptiles from breeders, and they won't really be able to tell you any of that. Go with a breeder.

  3. definitely a breeder they raised them hand fed them socialized them know there different personalities. at a pet store they could care less about anything but feeding them and selling them. some pet stores will sell you unhealthy beardies or other animals and wont even know it because they don't spend time with them. they don't raise them. if you go to a breeder you can get different color morphs and they are healthy and have a lot of customers who go back and buy more and they also would recommend them

  4. listen to your parents cause if you get one from a breeder then they might not let you get one so just listen to them im getting one for christmas.

  5. breeders by far are better! If you cant get to a local breeder, find a store near you that specializes in reptiles, since they most likely breed their own. The one near me does.

If you cant find one in your area, check the internet. They may cost a little more, but they are in good health and usually are available in very interesting colors.

    try these:

    www.dachiu.com

    www.reptiledepot.com

  6. do research on the breeder.  talk to the previous coustomers of the breeder and ask if they are satisfied with the bearded draggon.

the pet stores wont give out the suppliers adress or numbers or anything like that.  so in the pet store it's a blind sell.   you dont know what your gonna get.

id go with a breeder if i was you.  just make sure they have experience and know what there doin

  7. Breeder.

Go to a breeder who sells them and a pet store. If you really feel that the Pet Store is better when you go there, get it from a pet store. Same with a breeder. Most "Chain" Pet Stores mistreat the animals, or they do not do whats best for the animals.
