Is it better to get a slightly larger helmet or smaller (motorbike)?

Im buying a helmet online soon and i measured my head, and its 57cm's above my ears all the way round. According to a chart im a size medium, but im wondering if i should get a small size just so it figs snug?

Any advice would be amazing, thanks.

go to  dealer and get fitted and then buy from them because you will need them to fix your bike latter.

Measure your head accurately and use that measurement.  If a helmet is too tight you will be very uncomfortable within minutes, unable to put on glasses, no doo-rag, and itchy hair.

Too loose of a fit lowers the protection.  My advice is to go to a store and try them on.

The simple thing to do is go to your local motorbike accessory shop and try on some helmets. By doing this you will ensure that you get the right helmet to suit you.

Different Brands fit some head shapes better than others. Shop local until You know what Brand fits Your Head best then You can Buy Online at 30-50 Percent off. I know I wear a Large in a HJC so I buy Online with no worries.
