Is it better to go from Delhi to Chennai through aeroplane or a train....If so which airplane and which train?

This is on 13 th june. My friend train journey costs about 4500 Rs. and is a rajdhani express first class. Whihc aeroplane company should I trust which is safe and comfertable?

Ofcourse airplane .. It saves hella lot of time and pain ... for 4.5K you get a economy ticket in AirDeccan,SpiceJet,Go Air etc ; they are so so , if you pay a 1000 bucks more , you get Jet Airways, which is comfortable and good .
