  1. Mornings! So you can be energized for the day! (:

  2. The training effect is the same whether you run in the morning or evening.  So no it doesn't matter.  Do whatever fits your schedule.

Contrary to what another answer implied, there is no evidence that running in the morning prepares someone better for a morning race.

  3. It kind of depends on the person.  I like running in the morning.

  4. Running in the morning is by far the best time to run- mainly because when you run, you speed up your metabolism, which in turn energizes  and helps you burn fat faster during your day. Whereas if you run at night, you get your heart going and metabolism an' all, but than you head to bed. So what was the point of running, getting your body going, and than putting your body to sleep straight after? That's pretty much a waste if you run at night.

Also, it's been proven that the air in the morning is healthier than the air at night (which has the most pollution).

So, run in the mornings, but only run at nights if you're forced to.

    Good luck!

  5. Running in the morning is probably best.  I run in the morning and it's nice and it makes me push myself harder.  But it really depends on where you are, how you run, and what you like best.

  6. The early morning isn't filled with smog form all the car's driving like the afternoon.

If you can do either one, and you run races. Then do it in the morning. You're training your body to be ready. Most 5-K,

10-K and half-marathons, amd marathons start in the morning. You'll have already conditioned your body to run at the time of day and will be better prepared to handle the stress and demand of a race.
