  1. Unless you have GREAT self discipline, i HIGHLY do not recommend doing it online.

I thought online would be better so i enrolled in a couple of courses and now i highly regret it and want my money back if i could get it.

The downsides is just that since you have that great flexibility, you risk putting off and off doing your work. Also, there are some days where you just REALLY don't want to stare at a computer screen for hours but you have to. then the constant typing and mouse use leaves my hand sore some days.

whereas, going to a campus you get out, meet people, interact, have access to help from teachers and MANY more.

I can't stress this enough, DO NOT DO IT ONLINE! :P

Don't make the same mistake i did! haha

  2. It is always better to have hands on experience.  Being able to interact with other students and with your professor is half the fun.  Also, a lot of online courses require a certain amount of hours in the classroom.  It depends on whether you are willing to commute to school every day or if you would rather stay home on the computer.

  3. Depends, online classes are alot harder for some people.  Im doing both, only because I have a 4 month old daughter.  The community college Im going to offers most of the basic classes I need online or TV classes.  I would sit down with an advisor and talk to them.  They will be able to give you more of an idea, to see if you would be better off in class.
