  1. it's way better to have a staffy from a puppy because the old dog is harder to bond with then a friend u new for most of his life

  2. Get a puppy, it may be more expensive but will be more healthy, playful and most importantly will bond with you.

  3. We adopted our Staffy X from the dogs home, she was 15 months old, she is now 15 years old and is a sweet old thing. So I say adopt from a dogs home.

  4. if you have no children then get one from the pound because you don't know what it was like in the past even though they are checked by the pounds you can never tell what sort of life the animal lead

if you have got children then get one from a pup because you can train it yourself and it will always be around children

that goes for any dogs not just staff's unless the pound is 100% sure it would harm a child or any other person!

  5. Are you going for pure breed or cross breed.I have a staffy cross i have had her since she was a puppy. She is alot of hard work, she likes a good hour+ walk a day and you can't live her on her own as she eats everything, the wood round the doors, clothes, shoes etc.But i love her to bits,i wanted an older dog but our local RSPCA wouldn't lets us cause i have kids.what ever you choose puppy or older dog(and there are alot of them in shelters).he/she will bring you a lot of joy
