Is it better to have a toy room or put them in individual kids closets?

My husband gave up the t.v. room/office to make our kids play room. IT'S ALWAYS OUT OF CONTROL! I'm tired of organizing miniatures, etc.

I have a girl-8, boy-3 and girl-1.

Is it better to go back to their closets and assess who's are who's and get back a room in our house?

No, because theres going to be an issue with that later on. You will end up having to buy doubles of things, becuase your kids are going to want to play with things at the same time and have one in their own closets. Where as with a playroom it teaches kids to share well, with their siblings, as well as its hard to obtain any place of keeping toys it will get easier as they get older.

If you don't like it doen't matter. Better that the kids have their toys on their own rooms.

i find it is better to have a toy room because it might help your kids share if they are in individual closets then they will say this is my closet not yours but if there all in a room then they arent classified as an individuals possesions but just as possesions
