    And farmers love worms.

  3. Bandwagon fans

  4. i think i would die without the nhl,

so it's better to have bandwagon fans.

    : D

  5. well, bandwaggoners are not that bad so i would say it would better to have them than no nhl at all

  6. Bandwagon fans, I could careless about bandwagon fans, they come and go. Fisherman love worms, and farmers must hate them for eating their crops.

  7. Unfortunately bandwagon fans exist in all sports. I live in Dallas and during the late 80s Texas Stadium was near empty for the Cowboys, by the mid 90's you couldn't avoid seeing the blue star and cowboy merchandise. The late 90's that was replaced with hockey crazed Texans reciting anything they could from TSN or ESPN regarding the "coolest game on earth". Until this most recent playoff run more than half of the city couldn't name you the head coach or team captain. And most recently starting in this century the Mavericks are the hardest ticket to find in town while just 10 years before THOUSANDS of tickets were given away to every game just to get some people in the stands so it didn't look as bad on TV. Band wagoners drive all sports and sadly hockey needs more support than any other because of the tiny TV contract that it has. It may irk real fans because it makes getting tickets harder and you have to deal with the idiot at the sports bar who cared for about 10 minutes trying to come off as smarter than Scotty Bowman but its life.
