  1. It does not matter whether you jog in the morning or night-time.  Jog at whichever time suits you best, and whichever time you can go at a higher intensity.

    If you will be jogging at a fairly high intensity, jogging in the morning would be a bit more advantageous in making your metabolism speed up for the day, a low-intensity jog would only speed up your metabolism for a little while

    Also, you must eat an hour or so before jogging, you need the energy.  Jogging in the morning on an empty stomach is commonly believed to be the best time to jog, since optimal fat-loss occurs.  However, most people do not realize that the body is in a catabolic (muscle-burning) state upon awakening, and needs a high-protein breakfast to keep from eating away at muscle.

    So, if you plan on jogging in the morning, you should definitely eat a high-protein breakfast first, or you will lose a lot of muscle in the process of jogging.

  2. If you're going to jog in the morning do it before the sun comes out. At night it could be more refreshing. Jog before eating so you won't get an upset stomach. remember to keep hydrated with plenty of water though. Eat after jogging. All that jogging will get you hungry.
