Is it better to keep hotwheels in the origianl package if they will not be played with ?

My husband and I are going back and forth about how we should store and/or display our 19 month old son's new hotwheel collection. There will be some cars that we will take out of the package so he can play with them later but the cars that we are collecting for him we're not sure if we shold keep them in a storage case or keep them in the package ? If we keep them in the package what do you think is the best way to display them ?

yes keep them in the package. it increases their value over the years

as to the way you should display them, im not sure. just line them up so that everyone can have a good view of them!
