Question:

Is it better to learn how to drive in big chunks (say, 5 hours a day for 4 days straight) or in small chunks?

I have not driven in 6 years. I am 25 years old, and signing up for some driver's ed classes. I am not sure if I should purchase driver's ed in small chunks across a large period of time (2 hours a week for 10 weeks) or in large chunks (several days of driving all day, perhaps).

Advice?

  1. When learning anything, it is important to let it sink in.  Sleeping between sessions (one day to the next) helps a lot.  So I'd recommend short lessons over more days.

  2. Longer is better you will learn more, just facts.
