Is it better to practice colorguard on grass or concrete? (does it matter ?)

i really depends on where you are performing. if you are in a marching band or in a winter colorguard, you should practice on a hard surface. if you are performing in a field band then you should practice on grass. the reason for that is because you should get used to your surroundings. but all in all, it really doesnt matter too much.
