  1. It would probably  be easier to get on plane and fly there.

  2. I've had many good holidays in Ireland using only public transport. But the system is geared towards moving people between cities and large towns. if you want to explore rural areas you need a car.

  3. It depends if you are staying in dublin then public transport is grand, you have buses and the luas and dart, if you want to go out side dublin then rent a car and dont get a taxi too expensive

  4. rent a car

public transport isnt brilliant and you have more freedom with a car

  5. Get a car!! Whilst the bus and train services are OK you'll enjoy more freedom with your own car AND see a lot more of the country. Be warned tho - places like Cork and Dublin are h**l for driving in!

  6. I'd say rent a car.  Ireland is a very small country, even smaller than many U.S. states, and you will be able to get where you are going much faster than you would with public transportation.

You can see more of the country that way!

  7. Definitely rent a car.Traffic in Dublin is pretty annoying though and parking is expensive.

  8. hi patsy

i think in dublin you should use public transport...you can get a hotel near the luas(its a tram) eg the beacon hotel look it up on google...its only 10 mins from the luas that goes in to dublin city.....

but if your going into the countryside defo rent a car
