Is it better to use sweep tee's or short tees when installing central vac piping.?

I want to install a central vac system in my house. There are many components to choose from. The trunk line will run from one end of my basement to the other and will have several branch lines connected to it. My question is that when I connect the branch line to the trunk line, should I use a sweep tee or is a regular tee good enough. I am thinking the sweep tee and not sure why one would choose a regular tee instead.

Less line losses through the sweeps, so use them for tees and 90's where ever possible for maximum efficiency.

Sweep tees are the ONLY way to go. The sweep tee will give you a better flow so less loss. A standard tee will be very prone to clogging due to the short turning radius.
