Is it broken, or just hurt?

Its late, im going to the doctor i just want some opinions right now

My foot hurts right around my first metatarsal. No pain when im resting, but the second i put any weight on it i gasp and have a sharp pain. Bruise on top. When i put weight on it, a sharp pain, then when the pressure comes off the area i.e. i shift my weight, the pain radiates out from the spot.

Opinions?

Did you injure your foot?  For now try not to put any weight on it until you have seen the doctor.  Take care.
