Yes it is.  Public transportation is plentiful in most of Morocco and the prices are quite reasonable.

I didn't know that it was against their policy to take out money. I have about 20 dirhams in my purse right now.

yes it is. I was their lady year visited morocash Fez, Tanjeer and Casablanca, keep in mind you can not take any Dinar ( Morocco cur ency out of the country they will be confiscated

. But it is very nice and process very reasonable unless you go out in night clubs in tan jeer they are very expensive.

Very cheap, a taxi ride (5 minutes) in Rabat cost 4  Dh - 28 pence.

20 minute bus journey in Marrakech = £1.40 (approx $2.80)

Also diesel (benzin) and petrol (essence) are much cheaper there  i think Essaouira was around £0.50   50 pence  per litre.

U can take dirham out the country and exchange it at the airport.

I have done this in Dullus IAD and ATL and JFK

Moroccans are asses who won't wanna give up euros or USD so ur stuck with DIRHAMS when u leave. the banks are such a******s they only would allow me to put USD in my bank account even though I am a Morocan resident and lived in morocco 6 years. so who ever said it will get taken if u leave morocco their d**n mind

Yes. You might have to haggle for the price of taxi rides but if you can they will be much cheaper, especially if you are riding with 6 passengers, crowded and hot as it is. Trains are a good way to travel, they are so expensive in the US.  I have taken a Mercedes taxi to Agadir from Chichaoua, it was the same price to travel that way as it was to buy a bus ticket. And the very kind taxi driver  stopped for us about halfway and let us order lunch and eat while he prayed. City buses are very cheap, you won't have to haggle at all over the prices, they are fixed.
