I'm going on holiday there the 8th August and I would only be able to book a flight in the States five days in advance.

  1. well compared to the us the uk is very very expensive so i would book it at the us

  2. It will most likely be (much) cheaper if you book sooner rather than later.

  3. If you are only taking one flight (or with return),

then the price will be the same regardless WHERE

you book it from, but not WHEN.

14 days ahead or, better, 21 days ahead can mean

big savings.  Last minute bookings are the most expensive.

If you are taking multiple flights, then look into some

sort of "See America" pass, which is only available

outside the US and offers much more affordable travel.

(Each airline probably has its own name for this arrangement,

but the idea is that you can tack on a bunch of

domestic flights to your international flight for

    very little extra money.)

    .

  4. well, i would say cheaper once you get there, but from experience, its not at all, i fell for that in the usa- so book it from uk cheaper better.
