Is it cheaper to buy alcohol (spirits) in italian supermarkets or at the airport?

because it cost around 10 euros at the supermarket

also is there are duty free shopping area in linate airport

also how much are we aloud to bring back to australia

is it 2250 ml for only duty free alcohol or any alcohol in my bag i get from italy?

  2. it would be cheaper i think to buy it at the airport... but then most supermarkets have them pretty cheap.

  3. Duty free prices are higher to begin with so less the tax its not a great big saving.

    The limit applies to ALL alcohol being brought back into Australia. You can get around it in some countries by opening and drinking part of the contents. Have a look at Smarttraveller

  4. i dont think its going to be cheap either way. rather than focus on cheapness focus on quality.

  5. It is cheaper to buy it of the net than to buy it there. I just got back from Italy and my pocket book hurts now.

  6. in the super markets because in the airport there are tourists and whatnot and the demand of the spirits will raise. if you buy it in the super market, then most likely it will be cheaper beacuse its in the "norm":
